Radish with Potatoes & beans curry

Radish curry 

 This is a recipe i tried with the red radish which we do not get in India.This cute red radish are very tasty when cooked with different combination of vegetables.

 

 Ingredients:

  1. Fresh red Radish – 10 t0 12(Ends trimmed and sliced into thick slices)
  2. Babby potatoes – 6
  3. Onion – 1
  4. French beans – 1cup
  5. Salt to taste

For seasoning:

  1. Cumin seeds – 1tsp
  2. Mustard seeds – 1tsp
  3. Minced garlic – 1/2tsp
  4. Few curry leaves
  5. Chilli powder – 1tsp
  6. Turmeric – 1/2tsp
  7. Oil – 1tsp

Method:

  • Heat a tsp of oil in pan ,add and toast the seasoning ingredients(cumin,mustard,garlic and curry leaves)
  • Add and saute onions,radishes,beans and potatoes for 10min on medium heat ,stirring in between utnil they are soft and cooked.
  • Stir in salt and chilli powder at the end.
  • Goes well with chapathis.
