Bread bajji is a very easy appetizer to prepare , just like the regular bajjis we make with various vegetables(potatoes/brinjal/plaintain)dipped in besan and deep fry in oil , we use bread slices instead of vegetables here.
- Bread – 10
- Besan – 3cups
- Rice flour – 1cup
- Chilli powder – 2tsp
- Vamu/omam – 1/4tsp
- Salt as required
- Oil for frying
- Mix besan and rice flour with water adding chilli powder,salt and vamu.It should’nt be too thick or thin,bread slice should be well coated.
- Dip the bread slice in batter and fry in hot oil until brown.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup ,ginger or any chutney.
