
Brussels sprouts ,tastes similar to cabbage and this vegetable tastes good with a combination of vegetables like beans,potato etc.
Ingredients:
- Brussels sprouts – 8
- French beans – 1 cup
- Coriander powder – 1tsp
- Red chillipowder – 1tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Shredded coconut – 2tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2tsp
For seasoning:
- Chana dal – 1tsp
- Urad dal – 1tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1tsp
- Curry leaves – few
Method:
- Wash and finely cut the brussels sprouts and beans into small pieces and boil them in a cooking pot by adding a tsp of turmeric powder.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the seasoning ingredients.After the mustard starts spluttering add the boiled vegetables ,mix well ,add salt,coriander powder and shredded coconut and cook for 10 min.
- This tastes good with chapathis or rice.
