Ingredients:

Rice Flour – 2cups

Besan – 2cups
-
Water – 3cups
-
Red Chilli powder – 2tsps
-
Ajwain(Vamu) – 1 tsp
-
Sesame seeds – 1tsp
-
Salt – 2 tsp
-
Oil for deep frying
Method:

Mix all the ingredients with warm water and make a dough.

Put the dough in muruku maker and press into hot oil in small circular shapes.

Just by changing the discs in the maker u can make any shape u like.

Fry till golden brown, remove from oil and drain off any excess oil on a paper towel.

Store them in air tight container after they are cooled.
( Star shaped disc used for the above shape of muruku)

Instead of equal quantities of riceflour and besan… try with 1 cup of besan and 3 cups of rice flour… also add little qty of hot oil to the mixture before kneading into dough.will taste even crispier..

also u can substitute the red chille powder with crushed green chillies.. will make the murkulu to appear less red in color.
